How to rock: Wide legged trousers/pants

Wide Leg Pants
  • -Make sure you wear a tight shirt, because with a loose shirt, you may look frumpy, and with the loose pants and a loose shirt, you might look a bit too overwhelming and there will be too much going on.
  • -Don’t be afraid to be boyish with this look. Throw in a Trilby hat in a similar colour/shade of the pants.
  • If it’s in your taste, wear a tick belt that contrasts with the colour of your shirt.
  • -Match it all with a pair of oxfords and a blazer.
  • -When I think of wide legged pants, I think of a boyish look, so don’t be afraid to go man style here.
  • -Keep the feminine touch by having your hair down or a bold shade of lipstick.
  • -Still keeping that feminine touch, throw in a bustier instead of a t-shirt or polo, in a staple colour or neutral.
  • -If you go with the bustier, wear a bowler hat instead of a trilby!
  • -Keep the look polished. Don’t wear panda-eyes. Keep the look simple.
  • -Wear with a satchel or either black or brown, depending of the colour of the pants.
  • -Think of pleats for wide legged pants, because they still give some shape!
  • -Be wary of your leg shape/hip size though, because while they look good on 99% of people, that % may want to smooth down the gap between the hips and thighs, but that’s also as a general note (it happens to me all the time) wear a body suit if you’re wearing something long, from the waist/bust, that doesn’t curve out from your hips, because on every body time, that little bulge (if it’s there) isn’t attractive!
