This season's must haves.

Miu Miu
So, I find that a must have for this season, or in general really, is a spacious, attractive satchel. Not only are they really good for carrying your school books or work folders, but they're simply to die for, for all your essentials. For example, you could carry around a map, your small makeup bag, a mirror, a book, diary, planner, pens, camera, a handheld game console, your phone, and there's still space for anything else you might need. They're very attractive for this season, and the biggest colours you see will be in brown leather, or black leather. Taking a look at the Miu Miu Woolen satchel, it proves that there's even something for all the bohemian gals out there as well, or for those who want the more 'down-to-earth' look. One of my personal favourites is the Mulberry 'Alexa' satchel, as well as the Alexander Wang 'Kirsten' satchel (You can see my post here.) If you're looking for something a bit cheaper, places like Rubi Shoes, Sports Girl and Forever New have them for about $40. If you're more of a bright person, go for something in an orange/brown leather, like that of Proenza Schouler. If you're more of a dark kind of person, think of Alexander Wang. If you want something that will always be handy, and timeless, think of Mulberry, and to keep it down-to-earth, think of Miu Miu!

Binge.

Right now I am on a complete binge on Alexander Wang bags. I mean, the Kirsten Satchel, then the Kirsten Tote is also amazing, but I think a 'classic' for Alexander Wang is the Rocco Duffle bag. Just looking at the snake skin leather and the studs on the bottom of the bag, it's all kind of lovely, really. When I think of Alexander Wang I think of stunning blondes with an attitude problem, who only wear black, and have the perfect pout. Alexander Wang is perfect for me, really. I adore everything, as you should all know by now. I just want it all.

Ugh.

Alexander Wang 'Kirsten' Satchel in Black and Dove Grey
Dear Alexander Wang, please stop coming out with these beautiful bags, because frankly, the Kirsten Satchel is to die for. Much like my 'oh rebel' post, I find these bags are kind of an essential for the rock chick in us all. Satchels are always really handy to have, and they're totally stylin' right now, and every girl needs a bit of Alexander Wang in their life. Not only are they made out of the beloved suede, but the two brilliant colours are good to go with everything. I personally prefer the Dove Grey (left) over the black, because I'm loving grey's right now. (I bought this awesome cement coloured nailpolish the other day) I think a great combination though would be the bag in Dove Grey with black straps.

Into gear.

So, yes, it is very old news, and yes, I think a lot of people are over it, but I am still madly in love with the Alexander Wang Fall 2010 Ready-To-Wear. I loved the mixture of leather, sheer and stripes. My personal favourite was the red and white stripe tail-coat shirt with the puffy light denim shorts, but I especially adore the long, messy side braid, that was also seen for Miu Miu Spring Ready-To-Wear 2010. The entire collection was very American Football Leather meets French party-esque Sheer clothes, along with that one random splash of colour. Alexander Wang was really bought to life with this collection for I know a lot of people had never heard of A.Wang before this, which is actually quite depressing. I find that A.Wang is really a great designer for the younger generation, like Chanel was in the 20's, A.Wang is something that a lot of kids in the younger generation will love and adore, because it's all something 'fresh.' Looking at the collection as a whole, this is still my favourite set from A. Wang, for some reasons I cannot explain. Here are some of my favourite looks:
I really need to identify that this is my favourite outfit, with the American Football inspired purse and the tail-coat with the shorts.
